Nandrolone decanoate

Nandrolone is a long-acting anabolic steroid, a drug that is also used to gain muscle mass during sports by bodybuilders. In the Russian Federation it is produced under the registered name “Retabolil”.

This remedy has a mild androgenic effect. When taken, it reaches maximum effectiveness on the seventh day, the effect lasts approximately 3 weeks. To increase muscle mass, some athletes and amateurs use the drug as a form of anabolic steroid. The composition of the nandrolone decanoate 250mg ml 10×1 ampoules zphc for injection includes:

- Nandrolone – 100 mg.
- Benzyl alcohol.
- Isopropyl alcohol.
- Vegetable oil (sunflower).

This is a medical remedy originally used to treat patients after severe and long-term infectious diseases, after surgical interventions, with metastases in cancer with loss of muscle and bone mass, with growth retardation in children due to a lack of somatotropic hormone.

In bodybuilding it is used to build muscle mass and increase endurance and strength of athletes.

How to use

For a beginning bodybuilder, the dosage is usually 200 mg once a week; for experienced ones, the dose is often increased to 400 mg. It is not recommended to exceed it, since the frequency and intensity of side effects increases with increasing dose. The duration of the course should not exceed 8 weeks.

Combined courses

When taking the drug at a dosage of 250–500 mg for more than 8 weeks, after 3 weeks it is necessary to include the use of gonadotropin.

“Deca” is also used in combination with other drugs, for example, with Methane and Proviron according to a special regimen.
